Why Choose Lonnie Rush Engineering?

Whether it's at your local weekly track or traveling with a touring series, LRE can provide the competitive edge you need to get and stay at the head of the pack.  From shock rebuilding and dyno testing to CAD program design or suspension development, LRE has a proven record.

Kevin Harvick two time Busch Grand National Champion, Winston West Champion; Scott Lynch Winston West Champion; Ryan Miller Two Time QMA National Champion; Mike Rush Two Time Track Champion Columbus Motor Speedway.

The knowledge learned from working with LRE has taken these racers to new levels of competition.

The debut to the heavier cup type cars for current Daytona 500 race winner Kevin Harvick came back in 1996 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in what was known then as the NASCAR Winston West Series.  Calling the shots from on top of the pit box that day was Lonnie Rush Jr..  11 years later and many uphill battles Harvick adds his name to a prestigious list of winners in the Great American Race.  While many will try, only a few will achieve the most coveted titles within the motorsports community.  While desire is critical, another vital secret to success is solid fundamental knowledge and direction of racing and your race car.

Having competed at all levels in upper echelon of Stock Car Racing, Nextel Cup, Busch, Truck, Hooters and others LRE can provide the tools to first baseline your racing operation and then develop it into a competitive contender.

2008 Super Cup Championship Adds to "Rocketman" Ryan Miller's Impressive Young Career

Two-time Quarter Midget National Champion. 2006 Heavy AA and Heavy 160 National Champion Ryan "Rocketman" Miller nearly won this years Indoor Nationals at Fort Wayne Indiana.  Pictured here, leading NASCAR Cup champion Tony Stewart only to have the engine let go just after receiving the white flag.  LRE dyno tested and prepped the shocks for his Kenyon Midget.  Although under-powered, Ryan was racing against full Midgets and had driven away from Tony and the rest of the field.
