Recently, both father and son have become members of an elite group of fathers and sons who have both entered competition in the ultra competitive USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. While some can boast of a father/son crew chief/driver relationship no one to date can say that both have filled the role as both for each other.

The pairing introduced an even stronger balance of talents with the elder Rush handling building the powerplants while Lonnie Jr. excelled in chassis development and tuning. Two-time Quarter Midget National Champion. 2006 Heavy AA and Heavy 160 National Champion Ryan "Rocketman" Miller nearly won this years Indoor Nationals at Fort Wayne Indiana. Pictured here, leading NASCAR Cup champion Tony Stewart only to have the engine let go just after receiving the white flag. LRE dyno tested and prepped the shocks for his Kenyon Midget. Although under-powered, Ryan was racing against full Midgets and had driven away from Tony and the rest of the field.
