Lonnie Rush Engineering: We
Understand Your Racing Needs because We're Racers Too!
Racing has always been a part of life for Lonnie Rush
Jr.. Becoming a member of racing's highly competitive
family was just a natural transition, especially when your dad's a
racer too. Coupling
his love for racing with an engineering degree from Ohio State
University has provided a solid foundation for Lonnie Jr's expertise
from all aspects of the sport. Recently, both father and son have
become members of an elite group of fathers and sons who have both
entered competition in the ultra competitive USAR Hooters Pro Cup
Series. While some can boast of a father/son crew chief/driver
relationship no one to date can say that both have filled the role
as both for each other.
The
pairing introduced an even stronger balance of talents with the
elder Rush handling building the powerplants while Lonnie Jr.
excelled in chassis development and tuning. Like others have
been able to do with success, now you can tap into not only the
engineering know how but also the experience of applying that
knowledge to real time on track situations.
